I Live in Canada, Why Is My Order Taking So Long to Arrive?

Although it would seem that shipping time to Canada would be very short, that's not always the case. Typically, shipping takes about one week. It's not unusual for it to take two weeks or even three in some cases. 

I don't know why this. My guess is that it's a delay at customs caused by larger geopolitical issues between the two countries.
