How Do I Make Changes to the Contract That I've Purchased?
Permalink Closed

There are two versions of each contract. One is a PDF which may not be changed (except with the full version of Adobe Acrobat, however it's not recommended). The other is an MS Word document which can easily be altered to suit your needs.

The MS Word versions of the Photographer's Toolkit Contracts are set up as "forms" so that data may be entered in designated form fields without altering the contract terms. Once client data has been entered into a selected form field, pressing the "tab" button on the keyboard will advance the cursor to the next field. When the file is in form mode, the contract face page or terms may not be edited.

To edit the contract's terms, add a logo and/or change the formatting, click on the "Tools" menu at the top of the monitor. Select the "Unprotect Document" submenu item. The document is now ready for editing. When all edits are complete, select "Protect Document" under the "Tools" menu. Select "Forms" in the dialogue box that appears. The document will again be ready for use.

Directions are included in the User Guide included with the contract download. For more information on using forms, consult MS Word Help.
